"Bad habits sometimes allows us to act like children. But what makes it a good habit or bad is the state and also its frequency," said Dr Daniel J Carlat, a professor of psychiatry of the Tufts University School of Medicine, as quoted from AOLHealth, Friday (12/03/2010).

For that to know a few bad habits that can increase a person's health, namely:

Swearing or cursing
Researchers from Keele University in England found that the curse may have a specific purpose, because it can help reduce physical pain.

In the journal NeuroReport, scientists explain that someone who swore could trigger a flight response fight-or-that can increase heart rate and help the body cope with pain.

Listen to your favorite rock music
Researchers from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland believes that listening to rock music at high volume can improve concentration and memory.

Studies reported in the science journal Consciousness and Cognition divide the participants into three groups, ie participants who listened to classical music, rock music and are in a tranquil atmosphere.

Participants found that listening to rock music can be a job well done. This is not surprising because generally when I heard rock music participants are in a relaxed and happy atmosphere.

Yet this habit should not be done too often and long, and do not listen to it through earphones. This is to prevent hearing loss or tinnitus in the future.

Enjoy alcohol in moderation

To get these benefits should be the amount of alcohol consumed does not exceed the recommendations. But this can not be done by a person known to have a history of alcoholism in the family.
