Research conducted in 2007 in Jakarta and Cirebon area involving 1,200 respondents who were asked what kind of warning is more feared by the public in a pack of cigarettes, whether written or drawn.
"The smokers also agreed to provide warning in the form of images on cigarette packs, and when asked nearly 70 percent of smokers had tried to quit," says Rita of the UI Center for Health Research.
From the results of research showed that smokers actually aware of possible health hazards posed by cigarettes, so some of them there are already many times tried to quit smoking but failed.
